The £60 million Sefridges department store in the Bullring Shopping centre in Birmingham is an award winning example of architectural ‘Blobitecture’ – amoeba-shaped buildings. The Selfridges building, designed by London architects Future Systems, is based upon the collectable 1960’s ‘unwearable’ chainmail Paco Rabanne dress.
