Distanced but not distant

In these COVID days we have to keep an eye out for our neighbours

This image seems apt in black and white. It comes as we head into the 'COVID Winter' for what has the potential to be one of the most challenging periods in living memory.

My statement is not based purely on atmospheric considerations but due the ripple effect of issues including

  1. Planned social isolation to combat COVID-19
  2. Hardship resulting from the economic fallout of our altered patterns of life
  3. The widening gap between 'rich and poor' or 'north and south'

No matter what lies ahead we will need to remain connected - 'Distanced but not distant' if we're all to survive.
